U.S., Japan on Risks of Safe-Haven Status : IMF

Isn't Japan already considered a safe heaven by investors.?? The new thing is that now US is also coming into that status. No doubt US economy always looks promising compared to Euro zone.



As per the IMF report, safe-haven flows into the U.S. and Japan are pushing interest rates down. The IMF's warning is part of its broader global effort to sound the alarm about government deficits and debt across advanced economies. Recently they have warned about Asia Pacific & Spain.
