Finally some good news for AUD

Finally some breathing to falling AUD. Secretary to the Treasury Martin Parkinson comments that slowdown in Mining sector are greatly exaggerated:
  • “I would concur with Reserve Bank Governor, Glenn Stevens, that rumors of the death of the mining sector have been greatly exaggerated:” Parkinson
  • "While investment won’t continue to rise indefinitely, we expect strong investment this financial year and next. Only just beginning is the strong rise in extraction and export volumes stemming from that investment,”
This also comes inline with some traders saying that RBA is a contrarian indicator..
